Week 1 recap

The week started off with Oklahoma State getting a Win out in Corvallis over the Oregon State Beavers. Oregon State got out to a 7-0 lead however OSU would counter and get the victory 52-36. Texas Tech new coach and QB came up with a great plan and routed Montana State 45-10. TCU Finished Arkansas Pine Bluff 39-7 now the Horned Frogs will get ready for Purdue. Iowa State took 3 overtime’s to Finish Northern Iowa now they will face there in state rival from the BIG 10 Iowa. Baylor got in the win column with a 56-17 win over Stephen F. Austin. The mad hatter gets his first Victory at KU and Kansas State had a impressive home opener vs Nicholls State. Finally
West Virginia beat James Madison by 7 and the Texas Longhorns blew out Louisiana Tech at home. Texas gets ready for LSU coming in to town next weekend. On Sunday Jalen Hurts looked incredible as Oklahoma beat Houston 49-31in there home opener now the Sooners have a few weeks before they head out to Westwood to face UCLA.

Will Gundy leave for Tennessee

I don't think Mike Gundy will leave OSU for Tennessee but you never know these days money talks. However let's look at the facts and the truth is Tennessee has not been good since they fired coach fulmer the bottom line is some places have ridiculous expectations and Tennessee is one of those places. In this day in age Oklahoma State is a much better job than UT Knoxville,the Vols may have deeper pockets but in Stillwater you have better chance at the playoff and a rational fan base.

Art Briles Deserves a coaching Job and should have never been fired !!

I am sick of ESPN saying Art Briles had a role in a sexual assault scandal. They act like Briles rented a house in Waco and read a newspaper while women were getting sexually assaulted in various rooms.
The fact of the matter is most reporters have never read a police report and probably don't even know the names of the so-called victims, and most people on social media and comment sections can't name one fact in any of the cases they just read whatever ESPN says and blindly agree. Art Briles is a football coach, not a forensic files specialist and this whole process is about being politically correct. I call it politically Stupid. Dear Athletic Directors and Head Coaches: grow a pair and let the sports media know that you make the decisions on hiring and firing, not them.
